The bible tells us of a master who was going on a long journey who gave his servants talents. The master had carefully assessed the natural abilities of each servant. He gave five talents to one servant, two to another, and one to the third—to each according to his ability. The master then left on his journey. The servants went forth into a world open to enterprise and investment. The servant who had received five talents went into business and made five more. The servant who received two made two more. But the servant who received one hid the master’s property in a hole in the ground.Taken from:http://www.lewissociety.org/parable.php In this story, whom do you want to be, the master,or one of the servants. I want to be the master: of my destiny and entrepreneurship can channel my talents toward attaining mastery. The servants in this story are important as each teaches us an important lessons using that which we have to expand our enterprize and take risks that are intrinsically associated with entrepreneurship.
