Am I the ONLY One Not Having a Baby?

It's 11:51 on on a Tuesday night and I was planning on going to bed just after sharing my reading from The Daily Bread on a The Facebook, which is 20 today by the way!
Anyways, I'm browsing through my news feed and I see yet another friend of mine that I went to college and University with posting up her 'baby bump '....
So I'm here wondering.... ' Am I the only one of my friends not pregnant or recently having a baby?
I mean....everyone is doing it....and we're just 23!
Don't get me wrong...as Johnson & Johnson put it 'motherhood is chaotically beautiful!' The beauty part is all good and well, but on the chaos part.... I'll definitely pass for now!

Reasons I'm not Jealous of My 'baby- mama' counterparts!

  1. I am 23, like Taylor Swift's song ' I don't know about you but I'm 22', for me it's 23! There is still so much more I wanna do before I have a baby, like going to Romania. He/ she will only mess with those plans
  2. Barely own a thing, just got my first real full time job, which pays horses crap, so I definitely can't afford that lifestyle
  3. Besides, I haven't event experienced life yet or been in a real relationship, moreover to bring someone else into this already messy world
  4. My mom had me when she was 27 and I turned out okay.....so there's no need to rush!
  5. At 23, contrary to what my ex- boyfriend thinks, my biological clock ain't ticking!
So! What's the RUSH?
No offense to the baby mamas (good luck with your new baby) but this is for the non baby mamas, WAIT YOUR TURN...LIVE YOUR DREAMS AND ENJOY YOUR YOUTH!

The Business Model _Financially Scared

What sets you apart from your counterpart is your business model. It is the weapon that gets investors and loan mangers  interested. It is your Bible to successfully execute your business and make your dreams a reality. For many, the scariest aspect of the business plan is the financial overview, that determines viability and profitability. But think of it this way, if you can spend  money, you can do the financial aspect of the plan. There's no use being scared to make sure that your money works for you. You can never tell what can happen if you leave it the hands of others (not saying that there is anything intrinsically wrong with having an accountant, but at the end of the day, as an entrepreneur or anyone in business for that matter, you must be able to see the gaps where they exists). I am not afraid to manage my hard earned money, why should you???
Just saying, it is in your best interest...knowledge is power

My Limits

These past few weeks I have spent learning a few very essential lessons that I am sure will make me a not only a better person but also a better entrepreneur.
I have confirmed that I can't work for (stupid) people; I have to do my own thing because you aren't professional people don't seem to appreciate  when you do good work and behave in a professional manner. If you have a problem with an aspect of the project that I worked on, tell me, don't use it to tear down my reputation behind my back. I mean, I am not a mind reader, how am I supposed to know that you are dissatisfied if you don't voice that.
A noteworthy point to all my future clients: if you don't know what you want from a project, there's little I can do to help. If you are not man or woman enough to ask for changes or what you deem worth your money an then go and say that I did not do what: please find someone else to do your job. I am not interested; keep your work, I have enough to do as is.
I have also learned that I can't work with people who we don't share the same vision. I can't deal with the child's play: you not doing what you are paid to do.
I am and have always been a loner and I work fine that way. Love it, like it or hate it. Ur problem!!!

One of my greatest inspirations.

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Today,a public holiday, instead of spending it with my family, I'm staring in front of a computer screen working on a website for a client. These are the sacrifices that I , as an entrepreneur have to make in order to stake my place in the vast market of buyers and sellers. But at the end the one of the day, I think all my sacrifices will be worth 'their weight in gold' as my grandma always says " if yuh want good, yuh nose haffi run".
